The two-year Master’s curriculum in Law and New Technologies is designed to address the profound legal transformations driven by the technological revolution. This research-based teaching program combines the long-standing academic excellence of the Roma Tre Department of Law with a forward-looking, interdisciplinary approach.

Students will explore the intersection of law, economics, and technology through a comparative and international lens, gaining the tools necessary to navigate and regulate the complex challenges of the modern digital landscape.

Study Plan & Specializations

The program is structured to provide both a solid foundational knowledge and the opportunity for deep specialization.

  • First Year: Building the Foundation – The first year focuses on core training in law, economy, technology, and Space Policy and Law
  • Second Year: Advanced Specialization – In the second year, students can refine their expertise by selecting one of two specialized curricula:
  • Business & Markets: Focusing on digital markets, competition, and innovation
  • Transnational Law & Fundamental Rights: Exploring the protection of rights in the global digital sphere.

Throughout both years, students may choose among a diverse selection of elective courses, ranging from Bio Law and Legal Philosophy to the Economics of Digital Competition.
