Courses and seminars in English of the ‘Roma Tre’ Law School
The Department offers a vast choice of courses in English open to both ‘Roma Tre’ students and international students.
English courses are open to a maximum of 35 students. Exceptions may be established by the course professors.
Students interested in attending an English language course should access the page of the course to verify:
1. The maximum number of students that can be enrolled
2. The procedure for enrollment
3. Criteria for selecting students, should the number of applications exceed the maximum
All the English courses (NOT the seminars) carry ALSO 4 ECTS for “Legal English/Lingua giuridica” which will be granted after passing the relevant exam. To follow the courses in English and to be able to obtain the 4 additional ECTS in Legal English (‘Attività – Lingua giuridica’) with the final examination, students must have a B1-level language certificate. Students who ARE NOT enrolled in an international programme (e.g. ‘Global Legal Studies’, ‘Law Technologies and Society’, Erasmus) must present the B1-level language certificate to the lecturer at the beginning of the course. The 4 additional ECTS in Legal English may only be awarded once, i.e. only for one course. The courses called ‘Lingua giuridica’ (‘Legal English’) cannot be selected as individual courses but only be added to the corresponding course with the same name. Erasmus students can choose from among all courses listed.
