The lectures aim at providing the students with basic notions relating to so-called international contracts
(especially the international sale of goods) in the transnational dimension based on applicable international
legal instruments (e.g., United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods
(CISG), UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts (UPICC)) and relevant domestic
legal systems. The lectures cover inter alia: formation of contract, interpretation, core obligations, breach
of contract, exemptions, remedies, damages.
