The course aims to examine, from both the theoretical and the practical perspective, the dynamics through which the principles of the rule of law are interpreted, implemented, and transformed within contemporary legal systems. Through the analysis of domestic reforms in post-Soviet countries in light of international standards, it seeks to develop the ability to assess their impact on the protection of rights and on the balance among separate powers, as well as to provide the tools to comparatively interpret possible
