The course provides a comparative introduction to the legal systems of Asian countries, with a focus on Russia and Central Asia, Southern Caucasus, Turkey and India.
It aims at a general understanding of the law of the relevant countries within the context of their historical development and of their tangled geo-economic and geo-political relations.
