The course aims to study the discipline of enterprises, starting from the basic notions of the subject to illustrate how legal institutions operate in the business world.

The subjects in this course of study are:
The individual enterprise (excluding trademarks, patents and competition rules);
general profiles of the collective exercise of the enterprise with the exclusion of partnerships (“società di persone”);
Capital investment companies and its institutions, with particular focus on securities listed in the stock market.
In-depth analysis of the jurisdictions and responsibilities in the management of companies and particularly of companies in crisis.
The course is also focused to the study of mutualistic phenomena and cooperative companies.

This course’s syllabus focuses on the study and understanding of juridical enterprise profiles through the analysis of intellectual professions, specifically of professional partnership of lawyers.The subjects in this course of study are:
The individual enterprise (excluding trademarks, patents and competition rules);
general profiles of the collective exercise of the enterprise with the exclusion of partnerships (“società di persone”);

Students are assessed by means of an oral interview during the usual exam dates scheduled in the academic calendar in January, February; June, July and September.

The course assessment consists of an oral test. This test is made up of three questions regarding the topics covered in the recommended texts and in the lessons of the course. In order to achieve a pass mark, a minimum of 18 out of 30 is required in the oral test. The score of 18 confirms a the basic knowledge of the subject matter including the technical language. A mark of 30 with honours confirms an excellent command of the topics, excellent technical language skills and excellent ability to analyse legal issues related to commercial law.
