Programma
The program is divided into three sections: the first goes from the 3rd to the 11th century, and is devoted to the late-antique legal world and to the Roman-Barbaric laws; the second part focus on the classic age of the Ius Commune (12th-16th century) and it is devoted to the principal lines of development of canon and civil law; the third part goes from the beginnings of the 18th until the end of the 19th century and is primarily concerned with the codification in Europe.Testi Adottati

The crises of the late Middle Ages and the new European political order between 15th and 16t centuries: new institutions in private and business law; nationalization of legal sciences; religious crisis and nationalization of churches; the new international problems and the birth of human rights.
Enlightenment: doctrines, revolutions, and bourgeois law. The triumph of the rule of law; the new private bourgeois law; the codifications and the sovereign criminal law; the birth of the administration.
